Today my day consisted of camping in the front room with movies and beer. What for, you ask? Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

My favorite of the new characters are Hawkeye, Ghost Rider and Strider Hiryu (even though Hiryu technically isn't new). Rocket Raccoon, Phoenix Wright and Frank West are pretty interesting too. Nemesis and Nova are surprisingly fun to play as. Sadly, I'm not as good at playing Dr. Strange, Firebrand and Iron Fist as I'd hoped. But thankfully, Vergil is harder to play than he looks as well. Dante's already annoying as hell, I don't need to deal with two scrub characters in every team I face online.

And now, I await the delicious, salty tears of Mega Man fanboys upon seeing Nova's ending.

You're a bit late there, man, people are also losing their shit at Zero's 'alternate costume'. At this point, a lot of people are pretty sure Capcom's simply trolling them now.

I blame UPS for my lateness. Figures that the one time I'm actually prepared to receive a package, it doesn't arrive until the evening.

I can't help but wonder how the simple act of referencing Mega Man is trolling though. I imagine it would be pretty hard to make X's playstyle unique from Zero's, so an alternate costume both allows fans to play as X to an extent and frees up a character slot for a more diverse character like Frank. Logically, everybody should win. But yet, people still find something to complain about in that.
